Hi there....

I´ve been told that it is hard to understand my swedish writing, so im gonna try in english instead...

Well to start at the beginning i crashed my rxt-x hull and had to get a new hull, byt they are not cheap, so when i´ve got a good offer on this gtx in white and red with out an engine *(blown) then i start to check up the differencen betwen the hulls..... And it turnt out that the major fail wiht the rxt-x hull is the problem with the jet tunnel,(backfire issue) and then i´ve been told that it it better for max speed with this a litlle slimmer tunnel.... Så then the work began.... !!! Pics off the hull and body off the gtx to start with will come and then stripped off all parts, and then the build.... I dont have complete build pics, because when im on a roll, i just forgot to take pics.... Jobbigt :mad2:

The Build began in august last year, and first i had to strip my own Rxt-x and then the new hull... I had the engine removed after the chrash to get a better idea of the damage, and it did´nt look good :mad2:
So did´nt take that long to remove the last body parts and wirering...
I had a few extra parts to begin with, Riva sponcer kit and so on... but all in all it was an expensive experience, but the alternitive was even worse... (No insurence :mad2: )
But that was one of the first things im gonna get before it gets wet this year...

Gtx hull......:

I have pics from the begining off this ski.. And off the hull stripped and so on....
I stripped it down, washed it down, and began messuring up where all the parts needed to go, because the 2 hulls is not twins, not by far.... So had to make new holes to install all the body parts and the stering parts as well.... and holes fore the exhaust system...

Then the installment began, Body parts, Engine and so on... I needed to raplace the intercooler because of the exhaust system, but the build price was starting to make problems with the wife at home, så had to make some of the parts my self... :mad2:
I dont knowif im the only man in here that have had that problem, but i dont think im gonna be the last :mad2:

I´ve allready installt everything but I would like to change the rubber hoses from the supercharger to the intercooler to aluminum tubes, so my question to all off you, does anybody have a Link to were i could buy such tubes ? And i need a 4" (100mm) 30 degree bendt For the air intake...

I have an idea that these rubber hoses wont hold the pressure from the bigger supercharger... I´ve used heavy duty clamps on the supercharger and the intercooler, just to have a chance for this to hold the pressure, but still....

Its the first time I have build a ski of this type with this boost pressure so are not like PRO in the field so if any one have any good ideas, well then i will lisn with open ears and eyes :Newhere:

I think my build is like so many others, it is never complete...
After I´ve got it home, i startet to wander about the color of the top on the ski... im not happy with it, so I have talked to a friend of mine who make Folie on cars and things like that, and he have a carbon fibre materiale that we will test on the silver top and i hope it´l work, but if it dos´nt i will send it to paint... Black i think... but we will see... I will try to get pics of this as well for you guys...

Updates on the way....

Kul med många projekt på gång nu! Väntar ivrigt på lite bilder, då massor med text blir långtråkigt och jobbigt att läsa i längden.

Ser bra ut lite likt mitt gamla RXT-05 bygge. Hoppas vi får se lite siffror till sommaren hur maskinen går.

good luck with your build, the best option is to buy the RIVA IC relocation kit so you get aluminium pipes to your Intercooler

a x 255 HP engine with RIVA RACING ECU , 50 LB Injectors and fuelregulator and 15 psi SC has 291 HP at 8550 RPM

at 8600 RPM the RIVA ECU retards the ignition timing and the power is only 288 HP

with a ROTAX RACING ECU 8800 and 60 lb Injectors you would have 305 HP at 8750 RPM

that results are from the dyno at the ROTAX RACING factory , because they have developed the mapping for RIVA

with the old GTX hull you should get 77-78 mpH on GPS

Fattes fortfarende lite grejor, omlack av top och lite olike saker, och lite alu rör böj fron kompressoren til intercooleren... do jag kommr köre rundt 15 psi hoppes vi el kanske lite mer, Och ja inkörning av den...

men kommer lägge ut bilder och video på dessa....

Frågan är om nozzle og impeller passer ihop for at få op rätt varv tal...8650 rpm...

But only time will tell, and offcourse the weather

Kommer at montere 2-3 stykken av dessa på båda sidor til extra Air Intake....

Well mate I guess your right, but that dyne test is that on the crankshaft or in the water/what power it delivers in the water i mean ?

I dont think the wife would be so happy if I went out and bougt a new ECU, but we will see when the summer comes.... Andthen again this ski is not for race or competition use, its only for my own bennifit, so if it "only" does 77-78 mph, i think that will be oki too...
But i will test it anyway and make video offcoure so there shall be no claims off cheating... :mad2:

But should i brake the 80 mph barrier, you should welcome down to prove me wrong oki malte ? :mad2:

Dont have an GPS yet, but i think my buddy has one.....

the Jetski has a direct driveshaft between the crank and the Impeller, so the crank HP is also the HP on the Impeller in the water. ( there is no transmission that would take HP away like in a car )

Riva has tested your setup and only got 74-75 mpH, on 12.5 psi, so with the a bigger SC 2 psi more, you will get 77 mpH if you are lucky. and that is very fast for that old ski :good:

the 215 engine and 255 are exact the same !, the only difference are external components ( Intercooler , Injectors, SC ) but you are using that components from the RIVA kit

so a RIVA stage 3 for 215 RXT and a RIVA stage 3 for 255 engine is exact the same only the SC is the difference

btw, dit you installed the RXT-X pumpshoe in that GTX hull ? that RXT-X pumpsupport would give you 1 mpH as you would have a setback effekt

also there is no heat at all comming from that freeflow, the freeflow is filled with water and exhaust and the pipe has a temp from max 30 degree !

Great project!

Refering to our last phoneconversation, pass me a call and I got two costestimates for diffirent NOS applications that will get you above the 80 mph limit. In current set-up you are lack of plenty of horsepower with that "slow" hull.

NOS Snake-design IC application will not be enough to gain at least 5 more knots
