Här startar inom ett par dagar projekttråden för vårt senaste trimpaket "OPEN INSANE" som lanseras nu i slutet av mars 2010.
Under tiden kommer ni få följa projektets gång med utvalda komponenter och slutligen resultatet i toppfart och acceleration. Självklart kommer resultaten att dokumenteras med Video VBOX utrustningen för verifiering av prestandan.

Inspirationen kommer från många delar av världen som tex Motec Australia/England & Yamaha Racing. Tillsammans med Jerry Gaddis (4-Tec Performance) och Dan O´Kefee (JD1) erfarenheter skall vi bygga en tävlingsmaskin avsedd för Svenska Cupen i OPEN-serien 2010. Målsättningen är självklart en totalseger i cupen.

Setupen kommer att bli extrem ur flera parametrar.
Vi kommer att eftersträva en sanslös effekt i syfte att kunna bibehålla en mycket hög toppfart till trots för de komponenter som vi kommer att montera för att maximera sjöegenskaperna (off-shore). Dessa komponeneter kommer således att bromsa rejält och därav behövs det höga effektuttaget.
Beräknat effektuttag kommer att ligga mellan 420-440 hk med 99 oktan V-Power.
Motorn klarar teoretiskt 9300 rpm, men vi skall försöka undvika de höga varvtalen.
(En vanlig Motec trimkonfiguration ligger på 8300 rpm som referens)

Basen kommer att byggas på en Yamaha FZR -2009.

Skotern kommer att heta "BLUE AGGRESSOR"
( - Malte, start name your skis, Pink Panther, Dark Hamster etc)

Niklas, why you dit not get other partners ?, Jerry Gaddis and Dan Okeef are forum clows, that have never ever been racing, they dont have a IJSBA licence, and they also never build a racing jetski!, they only build and promote products to get money from stupid american customers.

to give a idea to others, Jerry Gaddis is not a bad guy , as well as Dan , both have been my customer since 2005, but they have never been racing as well, so they dont know what holeshot, hoock up , cornering is ?

Dans turbo RXP that win the hydrodrags , had a lightweight hull from Sweden , and a turbo rotax engine build in Australia from seadoo centre.
he does has competens for topspeed in flatwater, but thats not about open class racing

Niklas, you have to stop to read american forums, to get your knowlege !,

you can not sell a open class package to your customes that have been developed with guys that have never seen the race track, that is not a honest deal for your customers!

Men oavsett hur mycket deg du plöjer ner så kommer du fortfarande stå med hakan hängades när jag väl sjösätter gamla bettan...
Eller vem vet hur detta Insane paket sluta? Jag iallfall väntar med spänning för att följa hela byggandet!

Jerry and Dan have good setups on the rideplate for topspeed on flatwater, no question, they also have tested every available product for the FZR on the market , but they dont know anything about engine building or tuning , they are both " bolt on masters", i hope they dont fool you because if you need racing fuel to make the power, then you need it to run the engine save with the giving boost timming and compression , if you dont use racing fuel, then you will have less power, ( as you can not run as much timming or boost ) there is no magic for high boost / timming / compression and pumpfuel .

Dan Okeef FZR engine is broken after 40 h , he needs a new cylinderblock and new pistons, but that is not because he is a bad tuner, no , thats because the FZR engine has his limit.

Yep,

He has found the FZR limit in speed without springs, pistons and connecting rods, and it is very interesting information. We expect with at least one engine goes down for us during the competitionseason 2010, when we in our quest to find more development is always pushing the limit.

However, as we always do it with our own ski´s, in this case the current Yamaha FZR ski which is one of my own. We invest and develop for our customers to feel safe. We have a pre-tuned engine that is just waiting to replace a broken engine in place.

To quote you Malte so it is not about having enough resources to go up in the OPEN-class, but more to remain there for an entire season when you can count on various high costs.

The great thing about this forum and its reactions to the threads I think is comparable with the OCC (Orange County Choppers). You have the father and the son in the series. If I am mistaken, I can be likened our son and you are the father.

Dan`s, engine issue was not related to weak valve springs or bad pistons,I think you get more success with your own knowlege and testing , you have the rest of the winter and spring , to find a strong setup for your open package, and i m sure you will find it

we have to entertain the forum guys here Niklas, and that is part of the deal we made with guppa, if you see your role as the son in OCC, you better look at your person nummer
